In September 1908, Joshua Famutimu Adamolekun migrated from Ise (present day Ekiti State) to Iju in present day Ondo State. Born circa 1890, he would go on to live for about 97 years. He died on October 9th 1987.
While alive, he had 3 wives and nineteen (19) children. He was a farmer, a devout Christian and he believed in education, modeling this by educating his male & female children.
His first son, Nathaniel Kolawole, was born on October 19, 1909. He lived for 80 years.
There has never been a reunion of the Adamolekun clan and the grandchildren of Grandpa JF have decided they’d like to host a fun-filled weekend of trips down memory lane while creating new memories for ourselves and our children!
